As the bodies have been scattered over a 100 metre radius from the main impact point the search and rescue team is collecting them. Tara Air was established to operate Yetis its STOL Short Take-off and Landing flights with a focus on providing services to remote and mountainous airports and airstrips. The plane slammed into the mountain breaking into pieces said Bartaula.

Crash site of missing Tara Air aircraft has been located at Sanosware Thasang-2 Mustang according to Nepal Army.

The 9N-AET Twin Otter plane was carrying four Indians two Germans 13 Nepalese people along with three crew members. The status of the plane or the passengers is still not clear. The army confirmed the deaths of 14 of the 22 passengers that were on-board the Tara Air plane on Monday.

The plane was flying from the city of Pokhara to Jomsom a. There were 19 passengers on board and three crew members. According to Nepals Civil Aviation Authority CAAN the Twin Otter took off at 955 am local time and lost communication with air traffic control around 12 minutes into the flight.

8 hours agoThe Nepalese aircraft Tara Air Plane which had lost contact and gone missing was located near Kowang Mustang. Tara Air was formed in 2009 as a subsidiary of Yeti Airlines using aircraft from the Yeti Airlines fleet. The last contact was at 950 am near Lete Pass.
